25 Most Beautiful Painting Masterpieces around the world
25 Most Beautiful Painting Masterpieces around the world
Ilene Meyer has some fascinating work here. Her paintings have elements of fantasy and surrealism mixed with bold colours. There are lots of strange landscapes inhibited by even stranger creatures. The checkered grounds and distant mountains appears in many pieces providing the backdrop to other visual creations. Her heads of Medusa features snakes with heads of jesters, lions, dragons, mythical gods and other carefully crafted animals and characters. Even still life pieces have something magical See all Painting posts here > | See all Fine art posts here > See all Painting posts here > | See all Fine art posts here >...

25 Dream Like World and Glamorous Fashion Photography examples by Andrey Yakovlev
25 Dream Like World and Glamorous Fashion Photography examples by Andrey Yakovlev
Andrey Yakovlev: My passion is creating things, bringing them forth into the world—to change it, but also to change our perception of it. Whereas some seek to explain the world, to measure and document it finitely, I try to mystify it, lower its resolution, inhibit understanding, and evoke a sense of wonder through which imagination may flourish. I'm a self-proclaimed artist, designer, and musician, and am currently studying towards a professional architecture degree at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Miles Aldridge: A fiercely original photographer, He is best known for the technicolor dream-like worlds he creates and the glamorous, beautiful women who inhabit them. Aldridge creates ultra-cinematic images, drawing inspiration from film directors such as David Lynch and Derek Jarman as well as the psychedelic graphic design of his father, Alan Aldridge. 25 Super Realistic and Mind-Blowing Human Sculptures by Ron Mueck
Like several other hyperrealist sculptors Ron Mueck began his sculpting career in entertainment where he started work as a puppeteer, creating models and puppets for children's movies and TV shows. Most notably he worked on Jim Henson's film Labyrinth and even provided the voice for the character Ludo. In 1996 he made the switch to fine art and quickly rose to prominence with exhibitions at the Royal Academy and the National Gallery in London. He is now working in the United Kingdom, was born in 1958 in Melbourne, Australia. The son of German-born toy-makers, he grew up making creatures, puppets and costumes in his spare time, experimenting with materials and techniques. He started his career as a model maker and puppeteer for children's films (such as Labyrinth, The Storyteller and etc.). Later he was making photo-realistic props and animatronics for the advertising industry. In 1996 Mueck transitioned to fine art and in 1999 he was appointed as Associate Artist at the National Gallery, London. 25 Most Beautiful Macro Photographs for your inspiration - 10 Tips for Beginners
25 Most Beautiful Macro Photographs for your inspiration - 10 Tips for Beginners
Close-up photography is great for really bringing out the detail of your subject. In our macro photography tips we tell you how to get the best results when shooting macro outside. 1. Make Sure Your Subject Is Perfect: When you're working at such close focusing distances any imperfections become more noticeable and they can end up distracting the viewer or spoiling what could be an excellent shot. However, taking the time to look at your subject, making sure the butterfly you're photographing doesn't have a damaged wing or your fungi specimen isn't dirty or had a bite taken out of it, will mean you won't be disappointed when you review your shots on your computer once home. 2. Get Up Early: Not everyone's a fan of early starts but if you want to shoot macro photography out in the field, it's something you should get used to doing. Some subjects tend to be less active in the morning, especially when it's still a little chilly, making them easier to photograph and plants, flowers and other foliage are less likely to have had a bite taken out of them early on too. Morning's can bring a sprinkling of dew which adds another level of interest to your......

30 Breathtaking Sports Photography examples and Tips for beginners
30 Breathtaking Sports Photography examples and Tips for beginners
No matter what the season, there's always a game, a match, or a meet to photograph. Sports is arguably one of the most exhilarating things to snap on film because it's a goldmine of moments waiting to be captured. Before you grab your camera and head out to the nearest stadium, check out these tips to maximize your potential for great pictures. See all Photography posts here > 1. Freeze the action: Sport is fast paced and exciting. Use a fast shutter speed of at least 1/1000th of a second to freeze the action. This eliminates blurring in your sports images. 2. Shutter lag : One of the biggest problems for budding sports photographers is shutter lag (the delay between pushing the shutter release and the camera actually taking the picture). To remedy this have your finger half pressed on the shutter release and be ready for the action. 3. Know your sport : Be aware of who the favourite is, who is likely to win and who isn't. Research which athletes react for the best celebration or dejection images. 4. Positioning : Positioning is everything. Try to place yourself square on to the subject ensuring that the action is......

25 Mind Blowing and Hyper-Realistic Color Pencil Drawings by Christina Papagianni
I always try through my art to ascribe emotions up to a unique approach, mine. I use mostly pencils, but I have also used oils, acrylics, pastels and watercolors. I try and look forward to touch my own version of perfection, and this is something that only time can tell. Please look at my work and feel free to leave a comment or a question if you have one. I am open to selling some of my work and if it is for sale that will be noted in the description of it. I am also very willing to do commission work so feel free to contact me about that as well. 25 Anatomy Study Drawings by Veri Apriyatno - Tutorial for Beginners
A collection of drawings dedicated to the spirit of the human form and intended as an inspirational tool for the aspiring art student and artist alike. This site includes but is not limited to the following; human anatomy studies, studies in idealized human proportion and a selection of life drawings all of which were created by Michael M. Hensley. "Driven by a desire to create art that is both timeless and universal, the human figure has been and will continue to be an endless source of inspiration for me. As a student of nature I have spent many years studying human anatomy, idealized human proportion, and the underlying universal artistic truths necessary for mastering the human form. Aspiring to create expressive figures that are masterfully rendered has led me through a disciplined study of these varying complexities and intricacies. There have been many aspects of art and the human form that I have struggled with since my days as a young art student. This compilation of drawings is a selection of the many studies and observations that I have made in an attempt to overcome those obstacles.
