Oil painting by Arsen Kurbanov: Arsen Kurbanov was born in Mahachkala, Dagestan, which is in Russia. He graduated from Repin Institute in St. Petersburg in 1994. His work is a combination of old masters and new imagery. Most of his oil paintings have a biblical references and his two favourite artists are Pieter de Hooch and Verneer. Arsen Kurbanov is a master in portrait oil paintings. Arsen has also set up his own easle painting class in Repin Institute in St. Petersburg from 2008. Most of his oil paintings are of little children and women. The expressions on his subjects are beautifully captured in Arsen Kurbanov's oil paintings.
