Penter Marta was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil in 1957. From early on it was linked to the world of arts, having attended several schools and art centers. Currently, it has been dedicated to painting in watercolor and oil on canvas. With a contemporary realistic language explores the theme of the collective unconscious through images of personal antique objects and use of the human figure in a relationship between time and space. Icons coming from the strong influence of his training in psychology, which gain strength and expression in their work. His paintings usually in large sizes, characterized by enhancing the effects of light and shadow creating an intimate atmosphere typical of his works. In this new phase, the artist has been researching a new look at the man and his world, rescuing the feeling of intimacy and immediacy lost in a globalized world.
