Surreal art works and Illustration : Dzmitryi Kashtalyan is an artist/illustrator from Minsk, Belarus. The artist uses animals as characters for portraying his surreal paintings. He creates his surreal paintings on walls, canvas, paper and in digital grapics. He enjoys hand painting his surreal illustrations, since it creates a special bond between the characters. The artist mostly chooses wild animals dressed up as lawyers, soldiers, judges etc alongwith some other characters. The artist draws inspiration from news, magazines, nature and more. The materials he uses for surreal painting are black-white ink and paints. His utmost favourite is ink drawings. According to Dzmitryi Kashtalyan,"All my works are the reflection of my inner world, my emotions, my positions and principles. I draw only what I sincerely believe, even if it is not something popular or even something that is not common to say. Art has a strong influence on people and how to bring that art depends on the authors and the people promoting it. Before creating a new work, I think carefully about the idea, the message and the artistic means by which I will convey my message. I like to raise issues that are relevant to both modern society and an individual".
