Holland has got one of the most beautiful Keukenhof tulip gardens where thousands of tourists flock to admire this nature's priceless gift but 2020 is an exception. The garden is closed to the public for the first time in 71 years this spring, due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic. The garden is spread around 80 acres and the word 'keukenhof' means "the kitchen garden" because in 1400 Baroness of Hainaut used this place for her hunting grounds and herb garden. The keukenhof windmill, famous blue rivers of hyacinths and the lovely 7 million bulbs that bloom around the garden is an awesome feast to the visitors' eyes. Keukenhof is the world's largest bulb-flower garden with over 800 varieties of hyacinths, daffodils, orchids, roses, carnations, irises, lilies, tulips, etc,. The garden is open for tourists usually from march to mid-may every year. Let us scroll down to enjoy the world's largest flower garden virtually.
