Artistic minds create extraordinary artworks out of normal ordinary things found around us. Japanese artist Harukiru creates miniature artworks using the packaging materials which otherwise would be thrown into the bin as waste. Harukiru creates animal characters to tiny cities using three dimensional pop-up pieces using kirigami technique. The ancient art of Kirigami which Harukiru uses for his redesigning artwork dates back to seventh century Japan. The word 'Kiru' means 'to cut' and 'kami' means paper which gives the meaning of kirigami technique.
