Colorful Paintings: Patrice Murciano born in 1969, May 27 is a well established artist in who currently lives and works in South France. He was born in Belfort, France. He considers himself as a researcher in art, rather than artist. What's most striking about his art is the usage of vibrant colors, which makes his paintings really interesting. Patrice Murciano owns a studio called LEA (Laboratory experiments artistic), where he is in constant search for new styles and techniques. He uses different types of materials for his painting like oil painting, acrylics, digital graphics, ink, sculptures and so on. At the age of six, he used to recreate characters from comic books and when he was eight, he borrowed his mom's makeup to create portraits. Being such an established artist, he didn't major in arts classes, but was completely self taught. According to Patrice, each of his colorful paintings is his fruit of imagination.
