Pangolins, widely called as "the scaly anteaters" are often considered as reptiles but they belong to the category of mammals. These are small mammals found in Asia and Sub-saharan Africa. The pangolins have a peculiar kind of defence mechanism for themselves, they curl into a tight ball and will use their sharp scaled tails to attack their enemies. This small mammal is one of the most trafficked animals in need of its meat and scales for medicinal purposes.
