Embroidery art meets nature friendly art with the help of the bee neighbors. The embroidery frame is first designed with natural things like porcupine quills, japanese tissue, horse hair, beads and more. They are set in a certain pattern and then affixed on to a bee collector frame. Slowly the bees work their magic with their honeycombs and it adds a new pattern to the unique embroidery art. No bees were killed during the process of this embroidery art. Infacet we can see the honeycombs were created onto the embroidery frames. This embroidery art series is named as "honeycomb collection". It's a mixture of both man made and nature made series. According to her website,"Roth uses natural and local materials whenever possible. Canadian beeswax, reclaimed Ontario barn wood, birch bark, linen, landscape photography and paper are hallmarks of her work. She is fundamentally guided and inspired by the organic materials she uses".
