Veri Apriyatno is a Jakarta based artist who is famous for his layered pencil drawings. Most of his work is done with pencils on canvas, very few have pastel colours on them. He is well known for his contemporary drawings. He has also written and published six books on "How to Draw" for budding artists. He completed his bachelor's degree at Bandung Institute of Technology. He has successfully exhibited his work in solo and group exhibitions around the world.
